Pssssst... let me tell you a secret.
I had Pat of Longboard Haven machine my Randall trucks and I am going FASTER.
Let me explain.
Pat has a special tool that enables him to machine the part of the truck that meets the wheels, making it 100% flat, thereby reducing friction. Prior to doing this, you give the wheel a spin and it turns ten to twelve times before coming to a stop. After he machines it, it turns 50 to 60 times. No joke!
Now, you need good bearings to notice a difference. If your bearings are all gummed up, and not turning much to begin with, you won't notice a difference. But if you've got a sweet set-up that you want to make even sweeter, then consider this relatively cheap way to enhance your ride.
Take my word, I am now FLYING EFFORTLESSLY on my board... and that's on flat surfaces! I can't imagine how scary fast it will be when I atack hills or garages.
Shhhhh... don't tell anybody.

most milled trucks such as radikal axles, jimz's, maguns, etc. don't need facing. only casted trucks do such as randals, force, tracker, indy, etc. This service can NOT be offered for Crails because the axles are a bit bigger than 5/16".
As for me, i did this to most of my trucks and it made a huge difference in rolling speed. I recommend this 110%.

Crail & force ends are faced, you just have to remove the paint.

Yessir.
And we can NOT face 10mm Grizzly axles, either.

Aren't the Grizzly axles already faced? They looked as such from a picture I saw, but maybe I'm on crack...

the problem with the grizzlies axles is that they have been machined, and then heat treated...santoro or sean would know better maybe...are they flame or case hardened? Either way, reworking the axle again would cause heat and stress to the part making it unpredictable, and pretty much a ticking time bomb

As soon as you pull a real corner on those randals they will go to crap anyeways and for the most part good bearings are just a scam (well the rocket rons actually are a bit faster through a corner)
