to: mahneyeack - me too, snowboarding is amazing.... (and it hurts a lot less than flying onto concrete)... I must've hit the hills 18 times this past winter.... too bad it was such a warm (damn rain!) and short season... anyhow, skateboarding satisfies that boarding craving... I'm just starting my fourth week....
I will get a longboard soon... for now I just like cruising and carving... so I should have gotten a longboard in the first place.. Where are these indoor parks that you skate? I might want to check it out..
The garages look like heaps of fun... watched too many of those videos!

theres adrift skateshop in kensington market (close to college on augusta street)...shred central near yonge and wellesley...and a few outdoor parks that i havent really been to yet.
where did you ride mostly this winter?

adrift skateshop has a skateparK?? I just passed by it the other day riding through Kensington, I thought it was just a shop to buy boards and shoes..
I've snowboarded twice last year (not too well), and so this year I just went up to MOnt Tremblant and forced myself to learn, over 6 straight days which was amazing... back in Ontario I went every week with the UofT boarding club (which took care of transportation) to Blue Mountain, which has nothing on Tremblant, but that's the best Ontario has??...now I can't get enough of it... can't wait till next winter...
and what's this fashion show? it's gotta be next winter since it's snowboarding stuff...? I think Katie is all over this!

im joking, that is seriously just wrong. well, not my tastes anyway....
snowboardin9 (whats your real name, dammit!), if you like park and pipe, mt.st.louis is the place to be! plus the vibe there is so much better, i find riders at blue to be pretty snotty sometimes, and the overall atmosphere is too touristy and snobby to me...blue has more vertical but thats not always a good thing if youre into jibs and jumps like me.
@ adrift, the park (which really only consists of a smooth floor, a dope mini ramp, and a couple other features) is hidden through a door at the back. just go to the counter and tell them you wanna skate, and theyll charge you 5 bucks and point you to the back door.
did you meet a girl named natalie gough? i ride and compete with her, and shes in the UofT snowboard club too.
