Back by popular demand...The 'For Us By Us Female Fiesta' TAKE TWO will be held: Saturday May 27th, meeting at 2pm RAINDATE: Sunday May 28th **This session will be BEGINNER FRIENDLY**
First and foremost - let us take a moment to reflect on how much we love and respect the male longboarders on and off this site. We LOVE you guys
**Itinerary** 2pm meet on the north west corner of Yonge and Eglington - introductions and gear swaps. 2:30pm massive departure (DON'T be late), heading SOUTHWEST to Russel Hill along the back streets. Session there for a while. If there is enough demand for an impromptu lesson we will head to St. Clair banks to work on form and stability before Russel Hill, then moving to a downtown street session. The Route Map is here (large pic): http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d63/AubreyKix/FUBUroute.jpg
IF it is raining we will still meet at on Younge and Eglington -- but the next day. 4:00pm we will have some grits at the Rancho Relaxo on College and then shred our way to meet the cowboys at BATA.
BOYS we want you there too. Just a little later, once everyone is comfortable. Please meet us at 5:00pm at the BATA SHOE MUSEUM (I mean - it's all we really care about right?) on St. George and Bloor for a rendezvous. From there we will join gender forces and cruise down St. George to the core. Please be there and ...love us for our gnarliness...

YAY!
This is starting to sound like quite the PARTAY!
bex we won't actually be leaving the departure until 2:30 and then we're heading to either the banks or Russel Hill - either way you know where that is and where to park. Where's Maple?
carling and Nat: DAMN! Moving huh? Well take a break and come shred for an hour. It will be fun and your moving frustration will be eased during this little stint. Nat, you can shred from the departure point to your new pad, shouldn't take you more than 40 mins.
mAh_NeYe_AcK: I'm really excited to see those pics, but this session will top it for SURE! It has to.... I mean.... it was pouring....
skatie: Bwaaahahahaha! You NUT!
Much Love Aubs |

hi people,
just found this place so guess I'm new here... so... heylo!
anyhow, I've had my board and been boarding for 3 short weeks now, however, what I have is a skateboard (short).. realize now I should have gotten a longboard for cruising/carving/commuting.. I will definitely get a longboard soon but for now it's what I got..
question: do skateboarders join you in your runs at all (even maybe at the back of the pack as the humble not-as-cool ones)? or will skateboarders not be able to keep up / there's stuff you do on a longboard that you can't do on a skateboard (I wonder how it is to skate those garages that wind downwards with a regular skateboard)?
and if I read correctly, belonging to the male population means joining this particular sesh at 5.... alrighty... |
